UCF, Houston & Cincinnati are hoping to have their exit plans & conversations wrapped up by this spring says AAC commish Mike Aresco. 2023 season sounds likely. While Aresco insists the move sooner than later is much more favorable 2022 season seem logically impossible with all the variables between the different conferences.
Interesting side note though is their desire to get rid of their conference divisions. While they would have to petition the NCAA to do so because of the 12-team conference rule requiring divisions it makes an interesting argument for not having them with the potential playoff expansion conversations.
The B1G is also in favor of eliminating divisions it sounds like too. If the B1G goes no divisions do others follow? Does the Big12 have a no divisions plan if the playoff expands?
