I've taken a lot of heat regarding this group because I've been pretty clear that I just don't think they're tough enough. And, mostly, I've been right about that.
Here's what I will say, though. In yesterday's second half they came out and played hard and tough in a way that I don't recall seeing this team ever really play.
Here's my hope. That that sinks in. That the light has come on and they realize just how hard and tough they have to be. That's it's not just a one off.
So often you can point to a moment when things changed and a corner was turned.
The 2nd half vs Kansas State after they played a very timid, soft 1st half (yes i know Pack went off but part of that was being very comfortable) might just be that moment.
