My family and I went up to Norman for the OU game last night and are a few observations I had.

-I was surprised at how nice and welcoming everyone at OU was. By far the nicest fanbase I have ever encountered.

-We sat next to some really big OU fans who knew football and made some interesting points about our team.
1.)They said they would trade defenses with us in a heartbeat, which I thought was interesting.
2.)Said that Cozart might be the worst QB they have ever played against. They rightly pointed out that he locked on to one receiver and never checked down. He almost always telegraphed his passes and threw it to option 1.
3.)They felt that if we had a decent Quarterback we would have been in the game.

-Something that I saw that maybe those of you who were watching on TV may not have been able to see, is how often Cozart threw into coverage when he had a wide open man as a second or third option. I remember Johnson and Sims each were wide open for a TD on two separate drives and both times Cozart threw 7 yards into double coverage.

-Our defense gave up after the air was sucked out after Cozart's first interception.

I might write more if I think of them as the day goes on, but it was one of the most pathetic performances I have ever seen. Why not start Carter Stanley next game or hell even give M. Long shot? What do we have to lose? Cozart is horrible. I am so frustrated.
