Texas gets back on track with home win over Kansas State
On Monday night, Texas defeated Kansas State, 62-56 Austin, Texas. In moving to 17-9 and 6-7 in the Big 12, just one player, Dylan Disu, scored in double-figures for the Longhorns. In 30 minutes of action, Disu scored 20 points, pulled down eight rebounds, dished out two assists, blocked one shot, and was credited with three steals.
Offensively, Disu was 5-of-11 from the field, 0-of-1 from behind the arc, and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line. Aside from Disu, Tyrese Hunter (9), Max Abmas (8), Dillon Mitchell (8), Ithiel Horton (6), Chendall Weaver (4), Kadin Shedrick (4), and Brock Cunningham (3) all scored for Texas.
Against Kansas State, Texas shot 21-of-58 (36.2%) from the field, 3-of-19 (15.8%) from behind the arc, and 17-of-24 (70.8%) from the free-throw line.
