A woman has come out saying Kavanuagh pulled down his pants and thrust towards her face, touching her, when they were freshmen in college. Reportedly the GOP knew about this allegation before it went public. There were several witnesses with one coming forward and saying he remembers the incident. Kavanaugh's roommate at the time said, “Is it believable that she was alone with a wolfy group of guys who thought it was funny to sexually torment a girl like Debbie?" James Roche, the former roommate, said. "Yeah, definitely. Is it believable that Kavanaugh was one of them? Yes.”
Pretty sure the brakes at this point should be put on his confirmation until both incidents can be investigated. The GOP has plenty of time to confirm him should they lose the Senate, which is still highly unlikely, so there is no harm in trying to determine the facts behind both allegations.
