We have all sat through disappointing seasons when we expected much more than was delivered. The one positive for this season is that we know we are at rock bottom. You will not be disappointed if you have been paying attention at all during this off season. If a person believes this staff is the right group, then we can accept a rough season or two and focus on improvements. It is not like any long time KU football fan does not know how to endure a bad season or two.
I am still excited about our current staff and I believe they will build this thing up with good recruiting classes and solid coaching over the next couple years. Yes, this year is going to really test our fan base. KU should really look at rewarding loyal football fans during rough times. Here's some extra Williams Fund points for going to the games this year knowing it was going to be brutal. But, do it after the fact, so all those weenies that dumped their tickets can regret that decision and never do it again.
