Long put the stadium plans on the shelf, perhaps for appropriate reasons, at the time. We all know the stadium renovation is necessary to show our commitment to football. Without question, we should be doing everything in our power to join the Big 10. The research opportunities are spectacular. Would be transformative for our university. If I were the Big 10, I would make the stadium project a condition of membership.

Was at the game and they put on a show. During time outs, half time, before and after the game was outstanding with fires works, fly over, etc… I told my wife KU should hire the events coordinator whoever put this together. She said KU no money. If KU could do a quarter of what I just witnessed, it would show the recruits KU is really, really serious this time about football, no I really mean it. Smh.

The Miles experiment fell apart at the start with Chip Lindsey was hired as the KU OC and then was hired as the Troy head coach. Miles had to fine an OC from the scrap heap late and it did not go well. Chip Lindsey was 15-19 in 3 seasons with Troy.

So can someone try to come up with the Seniors that are completely out of eligibility?

So we know Sam Burt can come back. I think everyone believes Gilbertson and Bostick can come back. I wonder about Chris Harris and Adagio L? I think Harris didn't play in four games. Can he come back?

Would be interesting to see who they could theoretically ask back and who has no eligibility left. I have no clue given the Covid year deal, redshirting, medical redshirting, etc.

Chancellor Girod at the alumni party in NYC. I decided to ask him about us going to the Big 10. Knowing I had no chance of getting any info but was surprised when he said when all is said and done there might not be a Big 10. Interested he answered that way and that he answered at all. Well next man up. Rumors that HIckson didn't think he was getting enough PT. Well that just changed last night probably.

I am interested to see how Amari does with a whole week of practice as the one back. It is quite obvious the coaches have him scared shitless about losing a fumble. The way he is carrying the ball with two hands is limiting his running ability though. He needs to be coached up a bit more. Would be great for him to get a whole game under his belt and help us win a game if Devin can't go.

Next year we will be loaded with Neal, Hishaw, and Hickson. We are going to be hard to deal with running the football.

Progress is undeniable. So much so that it opens the door to couch coaching and attendant fandom strategy huddles. You have three time outs. A second one at 13 seconds. Then, they take a knee and 7 more secs run off and you don’t make any thing of it? Now 6 secs left. Whoops. Not the best of in- game strategic moments for sure.
