Wish we could have kept this brave young man and been the benefactor of his full potential. It is a shame he had to leave and even worse that he had to go through everything he did with his heart condition but he came out a warrior and a better man/human being. I truly admire this young man and hope he gets picked up and gets a chance to shine in the NBA.
As a father to a 13 year old little girl with hypoplastic right heart syndrome (basically half a heart) who has had 3 open heart surgeries) this hits close to home. Because she plays every sport she can, even my favorite sport basketball, (not allow by the docs to wrestle) I find her fighting spirit and Tyon's an inspiration because they both don't give up and don't let anything get in the way of achieving their goal's and dream's. I hope we all achieve that fighting spirit in us.
