EWG study: Eating one freshwater fish equals a month of drinking ‘forever chemicals’ water
A new study by Environmental Working Group scientists finds that consumption of just a single serving of freshwater fish per year could be equal to a month of drinking water laced with the “forever chemical” PFOS at high levels that may be harmful.
Doubtful most will read the article or look at the interactive map on areas they found wild fish with forever chemicals inside fish. This started in the great period of the 50s. Lack of studies then never saw how these chemicals take so long to break down in the world. It only took 40+ years to realize this. Wonder what else we are going to see in the future if there is no regulations on what gets put back into our water and water tables.
